I have five years’ experience teaching in both key stages and I am currently teaching Year 2.
I lead writing across my school and I previously led reading as well.
I have supported colleagues to improve the quality of their teaching and learning and helped staff to become more confident in their subject knowledge.
I have developed a strong understanding of how reading and writing develop throughout primary school and I recently worked with a secondary English leader to help adapt the Year 7 curriculum to ensure pupils continue to develop their skills.
I believe it is very important that schools work collaboratively to improve the outcomes for all pupils.
